In general, PST debts tend to be like all other debts, therefore the options remain the same – pay them, negotiate with them, or file a proposal or bankruptcy to deal with them. The nature of the PST debts needs to be reviewed further – are they from a personal business or a corporation? Is the business continuing to operate?
The options available to you will depend on your complete personal situation, including assets and other debts. Therefore, I suggest you contact a Trustee to discuss your situation in more detail.
