Borrowed from sister to buy car

I borrowed money from my sister last year to buy a car. I still owe her $6000 for the car but I have to declare bankruptcy. I want her to keep the car in exchange for what I owe her on it. Can I do this? (The car is worth more than $5650). She wrote a cheque for the car; does that constitute a security agreement?
