My husband left me and my 2 children last year. He didn't pay any of his part of the debts that were agreed upon in the seperation agreement. When collection agencies started calling he declared bankruptcy and I am now left with $50,000 of his debt. He hasn't paid a cent for his children in a year and now wants his passport so that he can take his girlfriend on holiday. I only make $25,000 a year, is there any way that I can sue him for this debt.

You have a number of options:
You could file a consumer proposal or declare bankruptcy to discharge yourself of your debts.
In addition, you could consult your lawyer about amending the separation agreement, since the original terms of the agreement are not being met.
I suggest you consult with both a bankruptcy trustee and a lawyer to determine the best course of action.
