I have a large credit card debt and I don't have a job. I've been paying one credit card with another. Now there isn't any money left on each card to pay one with another anymore. I do have some money saved up that I recieved for my child support payments that was suppose to be for my childrens education for college. The money saved is just in a regular savings account.
I am about to use this money to pay these credit cards for my monthly payments, and to purchase back to school clothing for my 2 children as well as groceries, but this will only last for the next three months.
I was told by another trustee that I'm not suppose to use the money to pay my monthly payments to the credit cards or to use any of this money to for my children clothes and groceries and that my best choice would be to give them the money to disburse to the three credit card companies that I owe OR just not to pay the credit cards and to let the collection agency call me for the money she said legally they couldn't do anything to me because I don't have a job, but what about after that when I do get a job won't they come aftter me and wouldn't interest have accumulated to a larger sum by then? Am I allowed to use my money to support my children and pay my regular monthly bills until the money runs out? Can I still file for bankruptcy after the money is gone?
