Co-signer on a Lease

I am a co-signer on my partner's leased vehicle I am considering declaring bankruptcy . She has never missed a payment and generally has decent credit. Will my declaring personal bankruptcy put her lease in jeopardy?

Generally no, your partner would not be impacted by your bankruptcy. Different leasing companies have different rules, so if you want to be sure, before going bankrupt contact us to confirm that the lease will not be affected, or contact the leasing company directly.
