The amount you can earn while bankrupt depends on your family size. For example, in 2006, a single person is allowed to earn $1,755 net per month. If you earn more than that, you pay half of the excess to the trustee each month for your creditors. The rules are somewhat complicated, so contact us for a more detailed explanation.
