I filed for bankruptcy in May 2006, my trustee filled a pre and post bankruptcy return on my behalf. Do I recieve either of the refunds if there are any?

No, if your trustee filed the tax returns, the trustee will keep the refund and distribute it to your creditors. The pre-bankruptcy tax return is automatically the property of the bankruptcy estate. The post bankruptcy tax return is generally only filed and retained by the trustee if you signed an authorization letter allowing the trustee to do so. Your trustee can provide more information.
