I am a co-signer on my partner’s leased vehicle I am considering declaring bankruptcy . She has never missed a payment and generally has decent credit. Will my declaring put her lease in jeopardy?

Tarion Home Warranty

If there is money in a trust account at Tarion Home Warranty in my name and I declare , will that money be lost once it is released or will it be mine? If I declare now, the money will be released sometime early next year – does timing mean anything? I really don’t want to lose the money – should I wait to next year and have the money before bankruptcy? Please help, no one seems to know this answer.

I know that if I file for bankruptcy before I receive my tax refund, that money will be taken by the trustee. What happens if I get the tax refund and then file for bankruptcy shortly after that point? Will they still take the money? How much am I allowed to keep?

I owe the phone company money on an old account. They have recently disconnected my husband’s phone. He went to pay his phone bill and get it reconnected, they refuse until my bill is paid. He has informed them that I am going bankrupt, they said that they still will not turn his phone back on until he pay’s my bill. Can they still do that after i have claimed bankruptcy?
